We thoroughly enjoyed our month of vacation in New Zealand. We stayed at 14 different B&B's all over the country. All the hosts were very hospitable. We decided when we returned to Canada, that we would send emails to those hosts that were the very best. We rated the accommodations, the hospitality, the breakfasts, value for price and the location. You were one of the places we stayed, that received a perfect score. We want to thank you for making our vacation truly memorable. We wish we could have spent more time with you & hope to one day visit again and enjoy a glass of wine.

Good morning Baroness Jenny & Footman John. Thank you so much for making our 4 night stay very pleasant in every way. We will recommend you highly & your home is in a superb setting with the view of Mt.Pirongia making it just the icing on the cake. Thanks again

'Somersal is clean, tidy & sweet. Jenny is all about the little touches. On our bedroom table, beside a fresh lily in a vase, is a bowl of scorched almonds mixed in with pink and white marshmallows. The electric blanket is on in anticipation of our arrival so we join them in the lounge for a cup of tea and homemade cake before bed'.

'Jenny whips up a tasty breakfast of bacon, scrambled eggs and croissants but it's the stewed rhubarb that wins me over. We then stroll around their garden with its blossoming cherry trees and watch the Waipa River snake by'.

'Thanks again for your very generous and warm hospitality. We very much felt like members of the family! It makes the trip so much more enjoyable when you can find wonderful places to stay like Somersal. Hopefully, we'll make it back someday.'
